Lice 'N' Simple is a pour-on treatment for biting lice on horses. With a single treatment, it effectively controls biting lice, Werneckiella (Bovicola) equi on horses. It prevents the development of immature lice in the coat and those which hatch from eggs.
How does it work?
Lice ‘N’ Simple Pour-On Equine Lousicide contains an Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) triflumuron, which interferes with the chitin synthesis of insects and acts primarily against immature lice, causing death by rupturing the malformed cuticle and/or by insect starvation. Triflumuron is an IGR, not an insecticide, so it does not kill the lice, but it stops the immature lice from becoming breeding adults.
