What's New at the Zoo (or One Stop Horse Shop at least!)
So we are at the start of a brand new month, and rapidly heading towards Easter. The school holidays are upon us (hooray!?) and what's even more exciting - One Stop Horse Shop has now been trading officially for just over a month from our brand new shop in Smythesdale!
We have had plenty of stock arriving each week, with more and more on offer to both our local and our online customers.
Most notable for locals is probably our ever increasing (and popular!) stock feed range. Each week we get new products in, as we get more and more requests from our local community.
We now stock 'Horsemate' which is an innovative, convenient and environmentally friendly stable bedding solution - sold in 15kg bags for $7.50 each - just open the bag, squirt with a hose, and watch it expand before your eyes!
Our ever popular Golden Yolk chook pellets are selling like hot cakes at just $15.50 a bag, along with our favourite iO Poultry Grain Mix for $17.00 - as voted number one by our very own chooks! Well worth a shot if you have fussy hens like we do :)
We are getting in more and more of the Hygain feeds - with Honey B, Equine Senior, Tru Care, Tru Gain, Ice, Showtorque, Micrspeed and MicrLupins! Plus feed varieties from Coprice, Barastoc, Mitavite and more.
But not only do we have horse and chook food - but we can also cater for alpacas, sheep, goats and pigs, plus we stock the ever popular Wild Bird Seed mix. We are hoping to soon provide dog food as well - but we need to know what you want(!) - so please let us know if you have any requests.
As always - we aim to please - so if there is a feed product you want, just ask us to source it!
Besides feed - we also had the excitement of receiving our first lot of the new Horze Active Silicone Seat breeches (and were one of the first Aussie retailers to do so!) - and at $59.00 a pair they are proving to be mighty popular with their superior stretch and silicone grip seat. Come in and try a pair on as I promise you they will soon become firm favourites for every day wear - particularly for those who are after grip without the restriction of a traditional full seat breech. We have also just received in more wormers - including more stock of the great Prometin Plus Mini wormers (both for foals/minis and larger horses, at $8.95 and $15.50 respectively!), plus all your other trusted worming products including Equest Plus Tape, Kelato Evolve, Ammo, and Value Plus.
Just this morning we also received some more Troy Hoss Gloss - now with the reduced price of $10.00 for a 1 Litre bottle! Or we also have the 5 Litre size for just $35.00.
PLUS NEW PRODUCTS ARE ON THE HORIZON! We now have access to ELT riding gear, Noble Outfitters, Kieffer and more from TopTac International! So ask us if there are any items from this range you want us to get in.
We also have another major supplier on board - and have catalogues galore in store for you to view - so feel free to come in and check them out.
Our winter rug stock is slowly trickling in - with a few sample rugs in stock for local customers to check out first hand so we can guage demand before ordering in more. So feel free to come in and talk to us about your winter rugging needs.

We hope it will not only make horse (and farm/pet) shopping more convenient for locals, but also to offer a source of different products that aren't commonly available in the area.
